Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive hardware planning and design of control systems for production plants. Your daily activities will involve creating and optimizing circuit diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8, designing network structures for fieldbus systems, and specifying plant components. You will play a critical role in control cabinet planning, which includes performing power and heat calculations, specifying cable types, and creating terminal plans. Beyond design, you will provide technical support during the cabinet construction phase and ensure all documentation, such as parts lists and assembly plans, is meticulously maintained. This role is particularly attractive due to its high degree of creative freedom in international special-purpose machinery manufacturing. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a qualification as a state-certified Technician in a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical design and hardware planning for production plants
- Profound knowledge in using EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN Pro Panel
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and SISTEMA safety calculations
- Experience in selecting and dimensioning electrical components and network structures
- Proven ability in structured, independent working with a focus on quality and cost-consciousness
