Job Summary

This role is central to the digital transformation of the Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale municipal administration. As a specialist in administrative modernization, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes, developing digitally supported target workflows, and establishing structured process management across the organization. You will serve as a vital interface between various departments, IT services, and external partners to implement change management projects. Key responsibilities include the independent planning and documentation of digitalization initiatives, as well as organizing and moderating workshops for internal stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of local government in a permanent role with flexible working hours (minimum 20 hours per week). Required Skills

Education

Degree in Public Management, Administrative Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification; or a qualified administrative training (BL II).

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in project and process management within a professional setting.
  • Practical experience with municipal administrative structures and modern e-government solutions.
  • Experience in organizing and moderating workshops and working groups.
  • Proven ability in independent project planning, control, and documentation.
