Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer at POLYMA Energiesysteme, you will be responsible for the technical planning and design of mobile power generators and floodlight systems used by emergency services and energy providers worldwide. Your day-to-day involves creating circuit diagrams using WS CAD, selecting electrotechnical components, and developing bills of materials. You will work closely with mechanical design teams and production to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. A unique aspect of this role is the hands-on involvement in programming and parameterizing control units, followed by functional testing on the test bench. This position offers a highly collaborative environment with a 38.5-hour work week, early finishes on Fridays, and a comprehensive onboarding process that includes seeing the manufacturing process firsthand to understand the physical product.
