Job Summary
This full-time position within the Lower Saxony State Department for Water Management, Coastal and Nature Conservation (NLWKN) focuses on the expansion and maintenance of groundwater monitoring networks across Lower Saxony. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of groundwater measuring stations, from site identification and planning to construction supervision and final acceptance. Day-to-day activities include performing hydraulic tests, camera inspections, and surveying work to ensure functional integrity. You will also manage procurement processes for new constructions and coordinate with various authorities. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and involves significant field work using a company vehicle. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) specializing in Drilling Technology, Geological Engineering, Environmental Technology, or a comparable qualification in water management.
Experience
- Professional experience in the construction, operation, and maintenance of groundwater measuring stations
- Experience in water management and environmental monitoring
