Job Summary
As a Senior GIS Analyst at IABG, you will lead complex geospatial projects involving vector and raster data management, including data transformation, migration, and the creation of Analysis Ready Data (ARD). Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve processing point clouds, deriving elevation models, and developing automated GIS workflows using Python scripting. You will be responsible for quality assurance routines and supporting the creation of digital map products and statistical reports. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Geoinformatics, Cartography, Geography, Environmental Sciences, or a comparable field; alternatively, a vocational qualification in geodata (e.g., Geomatics technician).
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the geodata environment if applying with a vocational qualification.
- Professional experience in GIS analysis and developing GIS-based workflows.
- Practical experience in visual image analysis, specifically topographic and land use mapping.
- Experience in scripting and automation within a GIS context.
- Experience in managing and migrating large geospatial datasets.
