Job Summary
This role involves serving as a strategic advisor to the Institute's leadership on all matters concerning information security. You will be responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). Day-to-day activities include conducting systematic risk and vulnerability assessments, developing implementation plans for security measures, and integrating security protocols into institute-wide processes. You will also play a key role in business continuity planning, IT documentation, and conducting security awareness training for staff. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of responsibility within a recognized German healthcare institution, offering a permanent contract with flexible working hours (minimum 30 hours/week) and the possibility of partial mobile work. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification; Qualification as an Information Security Officer or certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
Experience
- Proven professional experience in the implementation and maintenance of an ISMS
- Professional experience in risk and project management
- Experience in IT security or as an IT specialist with a focus on information security
- Experience in creating strategic, tactical, and operational security documentation
