Job Summary
As a Robotics Engineer, you will join a dynamic, agile team focused on custom automation solutions and special-purpose machinery. Your daily responsibilities include the offline programming and simulation of ABB and KUKA robots, followed by on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and the physical installation of robotic automation systems. This role is unique because it explicitly welcomes lateral entrants from electrical engineering or automation backgrounds, offering comprehensive training and further education in robotics programming. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Elektroniker) or similar qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in robotics programming or a comparable background in electrical engineering and automation
- Experience in special-purpose machinery and automation technology
- Practical experience with ABB or KUKA robotics systems is highly preferred
- Experience in PLC programming (specifically Siemens S7) is considered an advantage
- Proven ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems
