Job Summary
As a Customs Clearance Specialist in Marienberg, you will be responsible for the independent coordination of cross-border goods movements, ensuring all processes run smoothly and legally. Your day-to-day activities involve creating and verifying comprehensive export and customs documentation using the ATLAS system, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin. You will act as a vital interface between customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments such as purchasing, sales, and logistics. Key responsibilities include classifying goods within the customs tariff scheme, applying preference laws, and monitoring compliance with foreign trade regulations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in logistics and customs software. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Management Assistant for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services (specializing in customs) or further training as a Specialist for Customs and Export Processing.
Experience
- Professional experience in the application of customs tariffs (EZT) and customs software such as ATLAS
- Experience in processing customs and export transactions
- Practical knowledge of foreign trade laws and regulations
- Experience working as a central interface between authorities, forwarders, and internal departments
