Job Summary
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing regional support for mobile and crawler cranes, primarily in the greater Nuremberg area. Your day-to-day tasks will involve independently troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions directly at customer sites or construction sites, performing repairs, modifications, service, and maintenance work. You will also be responsible for instructing and training customer personnel, creating service reports and documentation, and identifying necessary spare parts. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, and control systems, along with a customer-oriented approach. The position offers a secure job within an internationally successful family-owned company, providing diverse tasks and development opportunities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, preferably as a Land, Construction, and Commercial Vehicle Mechanic/Mechatronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, or comparable technical qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in fault diagnosis and repair of machinery
- Repair experience in crane, commercial vehicle, construction machinery, or agricultural machinery sectors is advantageous
Languages
Additional
- Class B driver's license required; Willingness for flexible working hours including weekly assignments, travel within Germany, and on-call duty; Residence preferably in Nuremberg or within a 50 km radius
