Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position involves leading a field team in the Hamburg area to install, modify, and commission mobile communications systems, including in-house and WLAN infrastructure. On a day-to-day basis, you will oversee the assembly of antenna systems, perform high-frequency measurements on cables, and handle electrical wiring and minor steelwork. As the technical lead on-site, you will be responsible for creating documentation, measurements, and acting as the primary point of contact for customers. The role is unique for its 'home-based' start, where you travel directly to sites in a provided company vehicle. It offers a pragmatic, hands-on work culture with flat hierarchies, 30 days of vacation, and comprehensive equipment including IT and safety gear. Required Skills
Education
Qualified Information Technician, Telecommunications Technician, Communication Electronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a Foreman in the mobile communications sector
- Experience in the installation and commissioning of mobile network systems
- Experience in technical leadership of assembly teams during construction projects
- Experience working at heights (climbing/high-altitude workplaces)
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B (or Class 3) driver's license required. Must be willing to work at heights. Role is based in the Greater Hamburg area with a home-based start.
