Job Summary
The City Administration of Sonneberg is seeking a Head of Department for Civil Engineering and Traffic to lead a multidisciplinary team within the Building Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational management of civil engineering projects, traffic management, and the city's cycling infrastructure. Day-to-day duties include supervising department staff, managing budget allocations up to €25,000, and overseeing site inspections according to technical standards like ZTV-Asphalt. You will act as a key liaison between the city, planning offices, and citizens, ensuring projects comply with HOAI and VOB regulations.
