Job Summary
As a Commissioning Technician for KONE, a global leader in elevators and escalators, you will be responsible for the final technical setup and safety verification of elevator systems in the Berlin/Brandenburg region. Your day-to-day involves conducting construction site inspections, troubleshooting technical issues during installation, and performing ride comfort measurements. You will act as a critical link in the installation process, documenting subcontractor performance and preparing systems for final handover and operation. This role is highly attractive due to its competitive IG Metall collective bargaining agreement salary, 35-hour work week, and 30 days of vacation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in mechatronics, electronics, or electrical engineering
- Relevant professional experience in commissioning or technical adjustment
- Experience in construction site monitoring and subcontractor management
- Proven ability in systematic problem-solving and technical analysis
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to travel within the Berlin/Brandenburg region. Must be comfortable working with digital tools (smartphones/tablets) for documentation.
