Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer at SCALA stage systems & services GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in bringing world-class stage and event technology to life. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the comprehensive electrical design and documentation of control systems using EPLAN P8, including the creation of circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and PLC I/O layouts. You will be responsible for the technical specification of electrical components, ensuring compliance with DIN, EN, and IEC standards, as well as the Machinery Directive. The role requires close coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and international clients during project kick-offs and final on-site inspections. Required Skills
Education
Completed training or further education as a Technician, Master Craftsman, or Engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical construction and circuit diagram creation using EPLAN P8
- Experience in technical specification and selection of electrical components
- Practical knowledge of applying electrical engineering regulations and safety standards (DIN, EN, IEC)
- Experience in control cabinet layout and machine wiring planning
- Experience in technical coordination with customers and suppliers
