Job Summary
As a Technical Facility Management Expert at BLB NRW, you will play a pivotal role in managing one of Europe's most extensive real estate portfolios, comprising approximately 4,000 buildings. Your daily responsibilities involve acting as a central consultant for regional branches on technical and legal matters regarding building operations, maintenance, and repairs. You will monitor relevant legislation to ensure legal compliance, develop standardized operational guidelines, and contribute to the digital transformation of property management through CAFM system optimization. This role is essential for achieving the state's goal of a climate-neutral administration by 2030. The position offers exceptional work-life balance with flexible working hours (6:00 AM - 8:00 PM), up to 60% remote work capability from anywhere in Germany, and a secure public service contract with a structured onboarding and mentoring program.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Building Technology, Technical Building Services (TGA), Supply Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Water/Wastewater Technology, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical real estate or technical facility management
- Professional experience in building operations, maintenance, and repair processes
- Experience with relevant laws, regulations, and standards in technical building operations
- Experience in developing technical concepts and operational guidelines
- Experience with IT tools and ideally CAFM systems

- The role requires German language proficiency at C1 level or higher. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and structured. The position is based in Düsseldorf but allows for up to 60% mobile work within Germany.
