Job Summary
This role involves taking primary responsibility for the preparation of sub-group and consolidated financial statements for a leading healthcare group in Germany. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with both HGB and IFRS standards. Key responsibilities include handling intercompany eliminations, managing data within the IDL Konsis consolidation software, and serving as a central point of contact for subsidiaries, management, and auditors regarding accounting and valuation issues. The position is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills and deep technical knowledge in financial reporting. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Administration or Economics, ideally with a focus on Accounting, Consolidated Financial Reporting, or Controlling.
Experience
- Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and managing group accounting processes.
- Professional experience in auditing with a focus on IFRS consolidated statements or a similar corporate accounting role.
- Extensive experience with HGB and IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience using SAP FI and consolidation software such as IDL Konsis.
