Job Summary

As a Digital Systems Administrator, you will join the central Innovation and Development team to ensure the reliability and user-centric evolution of digital services for WBS SCHULEN. Your daily responsibilities involve a blend of operational system maintenance and junior service ownership, managing the entire lifecycle of digital services. You will be responsible for system administration, ensuring operational security, and managing service level agreements. Key tasks include handling change requests, documenting technical backlogs, and supporting first-level user support. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work closely with various departments to improve user experience and conduct staff training. The position is particularly attractive due to its flexibility, offering options for full-time or part-time work (30-40 hours) and the possibility of being 100% remote or based in Berlin or Dresden.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training, ideally in administrative fields, data management, digital management (Kaufmann/-frau für Digitalisierungsmanagement), or IT systems (Fachinformatiker).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration of IT systems or digital tools
  • Proven experience in managing networked digital services and their interfaces
  • Experience in project management, including task structuring, scheduling, and milestone tracking
  • Experience in coordinating and documenting technical change requests and backlogs
  • Experience in team collaboration and supporting users in a service-oriented environment
  • Experience in agile or classical project methodologies is preferred
