Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive organization and coordination of academic qualification and funding programs, such as the Clinician Scientist Program, for post-doctoral physicians and scientists. Key responsibilities include financial and resource management, budget control, and reporting in close collaboration with research controlling. The position also encompasses personnel management, academic staff development, and the coordination of selection processes, alongside advising and supporting program participants. A significant part of the role is event management, including planning and executing workshops, retreats, seminars, and mentoring programs with national and international speakers. Furthermore, the incumbent will be involved in communication, public relations, and the establishment of an internal communication network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a "Medical Career Center" and a strategic concept for academic staff development within the university medical center.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Medicine, Psychology, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in academic staff development and/or research funding
- Professional experience in project management
- Knowledge of university structures and workflows, ideally within a university medical center
