Job Summary

As a Technical Assistant for Fault Location and Measurement Technology, you will join the fault clearance team at Hamburger Energienetze to ensure the security of Hamburg's energy supply. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing fault clearance measures using GIS systems, analyzing network data, and setting up complex test and measurement circuits across all voltage levels. You will operate modern diagnostic equipment to pinpoint faults, document results, and perform maintenance on measurement devices. Additionally, you will conduct DGUV safety inspections on electrical equipment and perform grounding and impedance measurements in low-voltage overhead lines. This role is highly dynamic, involving on-call duty throughout the network area to support colleagues during disruptions.
