Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and advancing the technical infrastructure at the University of Police Baden-Württemberg, specifically focusing on communication and media systems. As a Technical Information and Communication Coordinator, you will be responsible for the conceptual design, maintenance, and further development of media installations and location documentation. Your daily tasks include ensuring the smooth operation of video editing suites, supporting digitalization measures across multiple campus locations, and assisting in the technical planning and execution of events. You will also manage user and inventory data, handle technical procurement, and ensure the availability of innovative networked communication systems. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work within a public service environment, contributing to the essential training of police officers. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, equivalent professional experience and skills.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of information and communication technology or media systems
  • Experience in the conceptual design and maintenance of technical infrastructure
  • Experience in technical event support and planning
  • Experience in administrative tasks such as procurement and invoice control
  • Experience with SAP or IT service management tools is preferred

Additional

  • Physical fitness required to lift/carry hardware up to 25 kg and perform work on ladders or in confined spaces (e.g., under desks). Location: Villingen-Schwenningen. Full-time position (39.5 hours/week) but eligible for part-time split.
