Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Plastic Technology and Design, you will serve as the primary materials expert for thermoplastics, elastomers, and thermosets (SMC & BMC). You will lead an innovative plastic development team, actively shaping the future of plastic technology within the R&D department. Key responsibilities include the technical and disciplinary leadership of the "Materials" team, managing fundamental projects, and overseeing the design and dimensioning of critical plastic components. You will strategically build expertise in elastomers, silicones, and thermosets, identify cost-saving potentials, and coordinate sustainability initiatives within the plastics domain. This role involves advising the Business Unit SI EA on all plastic-related matters and actively maintaining relationships with suppliers, material manufacturers, and institutes.
