This role involves the technical commissioning of rail vehicles in Salzgitter. As a Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for testing rail vehicles according to specific instructions, ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic functions are operational. Your daily tasks include documenting results, maintaining error logs, and analyzing complex faults using circuit diagrams, functional plans, and technical drawings. You will troubleshoot issues across various systems, including electrical, software, climate control, and pneumatics, while contributing to the optimization of commissioning processes. This position is particularly attractive due to its high compensation structure (starting up to €32.27/hour for graduates), permanent contract, and the provision of high-quality work equipment and potential company vehicle options. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician with further qualification as an Electrical Technician, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a completed degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Experience in fault analysis based on pneumatics, electrics, software, and climate control systems
  • Proven ability to operate complex systems independently following instruction
  • Experience working within strict safety and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols
  • Experience working in specialized environments such as confined spaces or at heights
