Job Summary
As a Senior IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the operation, administration, and continuous development of a robust IT infrastructure, specifically focusing on Citrix environments, Windows servers, and network systems. Your daily activities will involve ensuring high availability, performance, and IT security, while handling complex 2nd and 3rd-level support issues. You will play a key role in planning and executing critical updates, migrations, and IT projects, alongside maintaining technical documentation and coordinating with external service providers. Required Skills
Education
University degree in IT or a related field; alternatively, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable IT qualification.
Experience
- At least 3 years of practical experience in the IT sector for candidates with vocational training
- Several years of professional experience in system administration
- Extensive experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Proven experience in managing Citrix and virtualization technologies
- Experience in planning and implementing IT projects and migrations
