Job Summary
This role is central to the energy transition in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, focusing on the significant acceleration of wind energy expansion. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for managing the licensing and monitoring procedures for wind energy plants in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). Your day-to-day tasks include conducting formal and informal approval processes, performing environmental impact assessments (EIA), and ensuring legal compliance with EU directives and national regulations. You will also handle public inquiries, complaints, and administrative court proceedings. This position is ideal for professionals with a technical or environmental background who want to contribute to climate protection goals within a secure, public-sector environment. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental technology, industrial environmental protection, environmental engineering, environmental sciences, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, agricultural sciences, industrial engineering, or related natural science fields.
Experience
- Professional experience in administrative enforcement, preferably in immission control or waste management law
- Experience in interpreting technical descriptions, drawings, and immission control expert reports
- Experience in conducting formal and informal licensing procedures
- Experience in handling legal appeals and administrative court proceedings
