Job Summary
As a Junior Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in the finance department by managing diverse accounting functions. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing fixed asset accounting with a focus on additions and disposals, managing accounts receivable including credit risk monitoring, and reconciling payroll clearing accounts. You will also be responsible for VAT pre-declarations, maintaining intercompany transaction directories for transfer pricing documentation, and assisting with external audits and third-party reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to German commercial law (HGB) and tax law (VAT, CIT, Trade Tax) within a structured, tariff-based environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Tax Assistant or Industrial Clerk) or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting for candidates with a vocational background
- Practical experience through internships, trainee programs, or audit assistance for university graduates
- Experience in handling accounting software such as SAP
- Professional experience in balance sheet accounting and tax law compliance
