Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive First and Second Level Support for end-users within the Office for Information Technology. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of user requests via phone, remote maintenance, and on-site visits. Key tasks include managing access permissions, installing and maintaining user software, and configuring both stationary and mobile workstations. Additionally, you will oversee the deployment and maintenance of company mobile devices through a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT user support and system integration
- Experience in handling and documenting support requests via ticket systems
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of hardware and software systems
- Experience in managing user access rights and permissions

- Class B driver's license is desirable. The position is a full-time, permanent role based in Straubing, Germany, subject to the TVöD (public service) collective agreement.
