Job Summary
This role involves executing Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations as part of an independent drilling team for the major SuedLink infrastructure project. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up, operating, and monitoring advanced HDD drilling rigs and associated measurement technology. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate drilling tools based on specific site requirements and meticulously documenting all work performed. This position is ideal for technical professionals with a background in civil engineering or well construction who enjoy hands-on outdoor work. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Mechanic, Well Builder, Construction Equipment Operator, Civil Engineering Worker, or equivalent long-term professional experience in HDD technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology
- Experience in setting up and operating large-scale drilling systems
- Experience in independent teamwork within construction or drilling environments
- Experience in technical documentation of drilling progress

Additional
- Valid driver's license class B/BE required (class C/CE preferred); high willingness to travel/willingness to work on assembly sites (Montagebereitschaft) is mandatory.
