Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer based in Essen, you will take full ownership of designing and planning complex electrical systems within an international and technology-driven environment. Your daily responsibilities include creating circuit diagrams, wiring sketches, and cable tables using EPLAN Electric P8, while ensuring all designs meet functional, economic, and safety standards (such as IEC and DIN VDE). You will collaborate closely with project management and various technical departments to select components and support the commissioning and technical testing of systems. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering; or a qualification as a state-certified technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker).

Experience

Several years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably within mechanical, plant, or automation engineering
Proven experience in the planning, dimensioning, and documentation of electrotechnical systems
Practical experience in supporting commissioning and technical testing of industrial plants

Languages
