Job Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Kiteworks, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and optimizing the infrastructure for the company's security-focused content governance platform. Your daily responsibilities involve building a robust Kubernetes-based foundation, ensuring high availability, and automating complex operational tasks through Infrastructure as Code. You will be responsible for standardizing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and managing cloud resources across AWS and Azure. A significant part of the role involves implementing Kubernetes operator patterns for day-two operations like disaster recovery and ensuring strict compliance with security standards such as FedRAMP and FIPS. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys high-impact architectural challenges and wants to work with a modern tech stack including Golang and Terraform to secure sensitive global data. The role offers the chance to work on a mission-critical appliance used by organizations to manage risk and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Extensive experience with containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Proven track record in managing cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Professional experience in Linux administration and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience developing automation tools using Golang and Python
- Background in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and standardizing build processes

- Must have experience with security standards such as FedRAMP and FIPS. Experience with networking protocols (VPN, HTTPS) and security vulnerability scanners is preferred.
