Job Summary

As a (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer at sipgate, you will take full ownership of the model training pipeline, from data strategy and training to stable production operation. You will be responsible for building, training, and operating ML and LLM models, with a specific focus on efficient, domain-specific Small and Medium Language Models (SLMs/MLMs). Your day-to-day work involves developing fine-tuning strategies such as LoRA and PEFT, building reproducible training pipelines, and establishing robust ML/LLM Ops processes. You will also design RAG architectures with vector databases and collaborate closely with product and backend teams to integrate AI components into core communication products.
