Job Summary
This role is for an R&D Hardware Developer specializing in electronic design, focusing on the conception, component selection, and dimensioning of complex embedded systems. Key responsibilities include creating norm- and EMC-compliant schematics, maintaining development documentation, and conducting tests and reviews of schematics and layouts. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with software development teams, support hardware releases, and oversee manufacturing and product maintenance, while also contributing to the development of new designs and the exploration of innovative technologies. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, circuit development, and PCB design, who thrives in an international team environment and possesses excellent language skills in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field
Experience
- Several years of experience in hardware and circuit development
- Several years of experience in PCB design
- Experience in EMC-compliant design in an industrial environment
- Experience with hardware-related software (e.g., FPGA programming) and driver development is a plus
- Project and Total Cost experience (e.g., Design to Cost/Value)
- Experience collaborating with international teams
