Job Summary
As an Energy Economics Engineer at Erlanger Stadtwerke, you will play a critical role in managing energy data and ensuring compliance with balancing group accounting processes for electricity and gas sectors. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring meter data management from a grid operator perspective and handling operational market communications (GPKE, GeLi Gas, and WiM) for customer electricity supply and supplier switching. You will also be tasked with updating annual consumption forecasts, refining standard load profiles, and supporting redispatch market processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a stable, permanent role within a municipal utility company, where you will collaborate directly with market partners and contribute to the continuous improvement of specialized software solutions. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Energy Economics or a comparable university degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy economics and grid management
- Multi-year professional experience in energy volume balancing
- Experience with market communication processes for electricity and gas supply
- Practical knowledge of specialized energy software such as Navision, BelVis, or Wilken
