Job Summary

As an R&D Technician at Roche in Penzberg, you will be responsible for the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of complex experimental data within the diagnostics sector. Your daily activities will involve preparing solutions based on stoichiometric calculations, conducting routine analyses such as stability and accuracy testing, and optimizing formulations. You will work extensively with laboratory equipment including photometers, pH meters, and automated analyzers. A significant portion of the role focuses on the development of heterogeneous immunoassays and system development for immunoanalyzers using molecular biological and protein biochemical methods. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Assistant with additional qualification as a Chemical Technician or comparable technician degree; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering, or equivalent knowledge acquired through professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
  • Experience in immunology is considered an advantage
  • Experience in the independent planning and execution of experimental tasks
  • Experience in data processing and statistical evaluation of results
  • Experience in documenting results via protocols, reports, and presentations
