As a Sustainable Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring vehicle compliance and sustainability standards for major industrial clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing bills of materials (BOM) for reference vehicles to meet certification requirements and internal controls. You will utilize specialized tools like iPCA and IMDS data to create data transparency and coordinate BOM cleanup activities across international development sites. Additionally, you will conduct internal ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting audits and integrate sustainability requirements into various module groups. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in mechanical or environmental engineering who want to drive green initiatives in the automotive and industrial sectors. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, Environmental Protection, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in development processes within the automotive or industrial sector
  • Proven experience working with vehicle bills of materials (BOM) and certification requirements
  • Practical experience in total vehicle knowledge and technical documentation
  • Experience coordinating activities across international development locations
