Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for 1D Hydraulic Simulation at Brunel, you will play a critical role in the functional evaluation of hydraulic components and systems. Your daily responsibilities will include performing 1D simulations, conducting FEM magnetic simulations, and executing parameter studies to optimize system performance. You will be tasked with interpreting complex data, performing Design of Experiments (DOE), and aligning simulation results with experimental test data. This role requires close collaboration with internal CFD, FEM, and design departments to drive product recommendations. Required Skills

Education

University degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Experience

  • Practical experience in building and conducting FEM magnetic simulations
  • Proven experience with simulation tools specifically Amesim and JMAG
  • Experience in programming for engineering applications using Matlab/Simulink or Python
  • Background in data analysis and interpretation of experimental measurement data
