Job Summary
As a Data Engineer specializing in Battery Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the automotive industry by developing sophisticated data models and pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL. Your daily responsibilities involve processing vehicle streaming data and analyzing ePowertrain performance to identify patterns and perform root-cause analyses for field issues. You will contribute to an Advanced Field Monitoring platform, calculating KPIs for monitoring dashboards and working within the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. This role is highly collaborative, requiring integration with DevOps practices and meticulous documentation of code. This position is particularly attractive due to its focus on cutting-edge electric vehicle technology, the flexibility of remote work, and the security of a permanent contract with a structured collective agreement (ver.di). Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in data preparation, cleaning, and analysis
- Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred
- Practical experience with Python, SQL, Azure Cloud, and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of battery technology and ePowertrain systems is advantageous
