Job Summary

This role at Uniklinikum Erlangen involves supporting the Skillslab PERLE, a facility dedicated to training medical students in practical skills using simulators, models, and VR/AR environments. The technician will be responsible for the independent management and maintenance of media technology, including simulators, recording equipment, and virtual/augmented reality setups. Key duties include inventory, maintenance, and repair of training equipment, managing material logistics, handling product research and procurement, and acting as a point of contact for suppliers and technical service providers. The position also entails video and audio editing for digital learning content, providing support to students and lecturers on equipment usage, and managing training spaces.
