Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational safety and smooth technical functioning of chemical logistics facilities. Your day-to-day activities will include performing regular maintenance, conducting statutory inspections, and modernizing machinery and equipment. You will be a key troubleshooter for measurement, control, and regulation systems, while also managing technical errors within the SAP/EWM environment. A significant portion of the role involves coordinating external service providers and overseeing high-risk work permits. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a clear career path: after an initial induction period, you will take on the role of Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK), with the long-term prospect of becoming the Technical Department Manager, including personnel leadership responsibilities. You will work in a safety-critical environment involving hazardous materials, requiring a high level of diligence and a commitment to quality standards.
Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman's Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Elektrotechnikmeister) or State-Certified Electrical Engineering Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Elektrotechniker).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable technical environment
- Professional experience in industrial plant maintenance
- Experience in troubleshooting measurement, control, and regulation systems
- Experience in coordinating internal and external technical service providers
- Experience working with SAP systems, specifically EWM modules

- Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required. Candidate must be prepared to assume the legal role of Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) and eventually transition into a department head role.
