Job Summary
As a Senior Network Engineer focusing on Cisco technologies, you will be the technical lead for designing and implementing complex customer network solutions within a medium-sized ICT company. Your daily responsibilities involve conceptualizing WAN, Remote Access, VoIP, and Security architectures, followed by full implementation and documentation. You will act as a bridge between departments, providing 3rd-level troubleshooting support and leading technical workshops for both national and international clients. A unique aspect of this role is the involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales requirements evaluation to long-term operational management. The position offers a modern work environment including a dedicated Cisco Lab for testing and professional development, ensuring you stay at the forefront of SD-WAN and SASE innovations. You will also participate in a rotating on-call system to maintain high-standard Service Level Agreements for critical network infrastructures.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable vocational qualification with several years of experience. Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are required.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in network engineering, ideally within a carrier environment
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex WAN and Ethernet infrastructures
- Extensive experience with the Cisco product portfolio and associated configurations
- Professional background in project leadership, specifically in problem analysis and escalation management
- Experience leading technical workshops and presenting solutions to international clients
