Job Summary
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician at PK Rohstoffe GmbH, you will play a vital role in the sustainable management of industrial waste and raw materials. Your daily responsibilities will center on comprehensive sample management, including the preparation and archiving of mineral samples. A core technical focus of the role involves creating powder pellets and performing quantitative elemental analysis using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology. You will also be responsible for conducting various testing procedures such as sieve analysis, density determination, and extractions, while ensuring all results are meticulously documented in laboratory databases and Excel. This position offers a unique blend of laboratory work and operational involvement, as you will assist in sampling at production sites and external warehouses. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or a comparable technical qualification such as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA).
Experience
- Professional experience in instrumental analytics, specifically with XRF and sample preparation
- Experience in handling heterogeneous, mineral waste and secondary raw materials is preferred
- Demonstrated routine in documenting results and using laboratory information systems
- Practical experience in performing technical testing procedures such as extractions and density tests
