Job Summary
This role involves leading the Instrumentation and Control (I&C) department for the heat generation and distribution networks at Stadtwerke Heidelberg. As the Department Head, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and functional leadership of your team, ensuring operational safety and high plant availability through strategic maintenance concepts. Your day-to-day will involve planning and controlling departmental processes, developing internal regulations, and overseeing complex maintenance and optimization projects. You will act as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) and manage supplier relationships to improve plant performance and economic efficiency. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in heat generation or the operation and maintenance of I&C systems in large-scale technical plants
- Experience in project planning and execution for complex technical systems
- Leadership experience in managing and developing technical teams
- Experience in ensuring plant safety and compliance with technical regulations and standards

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Participation in on-call duty is mandatory. Must serve as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) within the working group.
