Job Summary

As an Information Security Manager specializing in Aviation, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of HENSOLDT's aviation systems. Operating in a part-time capacity (20 hours per week), you will be responsible for conducting security trainings, publishing monthly awareness newsletters, and performing specialized information security audits. You will support the Accountable Manager and Safety Manager in implementing technical security measures while ensuring compliance with EASA regulations and German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) standards. This role is unique for its focus on the intersection of aviation safety and cybersecurity, requiring you to bridge the gap between IT-related compliance and operational flight safety. You will act as a key point of contact for the Information Security Officer (ISB) and drive the continuous improvement of the Compliance Management system at the Bückeburg simulation center.

Required Skills

Education

Relevant university degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in the field of aviation safety is required
  • Experience in creating IT audit plans and conducting security audits
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects, sub-projects, or project teams
  • Proven track record in conducting coaching and training sessions
  • Experience with aviation-specific regulations such as EU VO 203/2023 and EU VO 1178/2011
  • Experience in presentation design and delivery
