Job Summary

This role is based at the Innovation Hub 110 (IHUB) of the Hessian Police Headquarters for Technology, working in an interdisciplinary team to modernize police operations through digital solutions. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of the Hessian Police's Geodata Infrastructure (GDI). Your day-to-day involves technical planning, coordinating project goals with stakeholders, and providing second-level support for GDI systems. You will also manage project teams and advise technical departments on geospatial needs. This position is unique for its 'start-up atmosphere' within a public service context, offering a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems for emergency response and control centers. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in geoinformatics and geodata infrastructure management
  • Experience in IT project management and coordinating technical project teams
  • Practical experience applying ITIL, testing, and project management processes
  • Experience in providing technical support and consulting for specialized departments

German (Fluent)
