Job Summary

As an Embedded Software Engineer for Flight Control Systems (FCS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS) at Airbus Defence and Space, you will work within an agile team to design, implement, and test safety-critical real-time software. Your daily responsibilities include developing low-level platform software and embedded applications for flight control computers, conducting software reviews, and documenting software architecture and designs. You will play a key role in analyzing stakeholder needs, specifying actionable requirements, and defining hardware/software interfaces.
