Job Summary

As a Hardware Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive testing and validation of electronic assemblies. Your day-to-day activities involve creating detailed verification specifications for functional hardware tests, as well as overseeing environmental and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing. You will play a critical role in the documentation and evaluation of test results to ensure high-quality hardware performance. A significant part of the role includes the specification and commissioning of modular test environments based on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems, where you will develop test scripts and create simulation models for sensor and actuator replicas. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, or a state-certified technician qualification with equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development or hardware verification
  • Experience in creating verification specifications and conducting functional tests on electronic assemblies
  • Experience with the configuration of test environments and development of test scripts
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental and EMC standards is preferred
  • Ideally experienced with functional safety standards such as IEC 61508 or ISO 26262

Additional
