Job Summary

As a Configuration Manager at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration management (CM) lifecycle in accordance with AQAP and V-Model standards. Your daily activities will involve planning and monitoring CM processes, maintaining configuration management plans, and ensuring full traceability of all configuration items. You will lead identification, change control, and status accounting while organizing and moderating Change Control Boards. A significant portion of the role involves conducting FCA/PCA audits and collaborating closely with quality management, development, and system engineering teams. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., Engineering, Natural Sciences).

Experience

  • Professional experience in configuration management of technical systems
  • Experience working within military or defense industry environments
  • Proven experience with configuration and version control systems such as PTC Windchill, IBM Rational, or Polarion
  • Practical experience in planning and conducting functional and physical configuration audits (FCA/PCA)
  • Experience in moderating Change Control Boards and managing configuration baselines
