Job Summary
As a Quality Control Manager, you will be a key member of the team responsible for the analysis and release of high-quality biotechnological products within an EXCiPACT-GMP certified environment. Your daily responsibilities include reviewing internal and external analytical results, coordinating tests with external laboratories, and maintaining QC-specific documentation. You will actively participate in handling deviations and change requests, while also supporting method transfers and the validation of analytical procedures. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close cooperation with the laboratory team and reporting directly to the Head of QC. The position is based at the modern Kerry Biotechnology Centre in Leipzig, offering a dynamic international environment with flat hierarchies. It is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to apply advanced analytical methods in the biopharmaceutical and food industries while contributing to stability programs and process improvements.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience with relevant analytical methods including enzymatic assays and enzyme activity determination.
- Practical experience in molecular biology, microbiology, and HPLC is highly desirable.
- Professional experience in a regulated environment such as ISO 9001 or GMP is preferred.
- Experience in managing deviations, change requests, and method transfers.
- Experience in coordinating external laboratory services and analytical documentation.
