Job Summary

The Urological Research Laboratory at University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) is seeking a PhD Student for a DFG-funded project focused on translational uro-oncology. The successful candidate will conduct research into therapy-resistant testicular germ cell tumors, specifically investigating molecular and epigenetic subtypes to identify new therapeutic options and circulating biomarkers. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and performing complex molecular biology experiments using patient materials and human tumor cell lines, employing techniques such as single-cell RNA sequencing, mass spectrometry, and DNA methylation arrays.
