Job Summary
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all internal specifications, legal regulations, and customer requirements are met within a food production environment. Your daily responsibilities will involve the independent execution and documentation of sampling, as well as conducting comprehensive microbiological, chemical, and physical laboratory analyses. You will be responsible for evaluating raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods while supporting root cause analysis for any deviations or complaints. This role is highly collaborative, involving participation in internal and external audits and the continuous optimization of testing methods and quality standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of Food Technology, (Micro)Biology, Oecotrophology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in microbiological, chemical, and physical laboratory analysis
- Experience in food quality standards such as HACCP, IFS, or BRC
- Experience in conducting and documenting sampling and incoming goods inspections
- Experience in process evaluation and root cause analysis for quality deviations
