Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair of PLC-controlled conveyor and storage systems to ensure maximum plant availability. Based in Halberstadt, the successful candidate will perform shift-based troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and software-related malfunctions, specifically focusing on Siemens S7 and TIA Portal controllers. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing PLC programs, performing predictive maintenance through condition monitoring, and documenting all measures in a digital management system. The position is unique for its high level of technical variety, involving everything from automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to sensor and actuator commissioning.
