Job Summary

As an Infrastructure Specialist and Architect focusing on IT Event Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the monitoring and performance analysis landscape for a leading German financial services provider. Operating within a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment, your day-to-day responsibilities include the technological design and implementation of event correlation platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will act as a key liaison between stakeholders, tribe leads, and customers, ensuring that IT event management solutions are automated, sustainable, and stable throughout their entire lifecycle (Build & Run). The role demands a DevOps mindset to drive CI/CD practices and standardize automated processes. This position is particularly attractive due to its integration into an agile, interdisciplinary team, offering a 38-hour work week under a collective agreement, flexible mobile working options (at least 2 days per week), and a strong commitment to modern, data-driven decision-making and professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or a comparable professional qualification.

Experience

  • Deep professional experience in developing and operating stable IT Event Management solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Practical experience in building and automating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in infrastructure and End-to-End monitoring.
  • Demonstrated experience working with agile methods and agile-led projects.
  • Experience in rule-based event correlation and connecting these systems to ticketing platforms.
